Quillentra is an AI medical scribe for clinicians in the United States and Canada. It listens to a visit with the patient's consent, drafts the note in your own template, and leaves every word for you to review and sign.
Why we exist
Notes matter. Writing them shouldn't cost you the evening.
A clinical note carries a patient's story from one clinician to the next. It supports billing, protects everyone involved, and is often the record a colleague relies on years later. It deserves care, and it gets it: at the keyboard during the visit, and again after clinic, when the waiting room is empty and the charts are not.
Most of that writing can be drafted from the conversation you've already had. What can't be handed off is judgment. So Quillentra drafts, and you decide.
A tool that hears the most private conversations in medicine has to earn its place.

What Quillentra does
From conversation to signed note
Four steps, and nothing reaches a record until you've read it.
Step 1
Capture
Record an in-person visit, a telehealth call or a dictation in your browser, or upload a recording. For a patient visit, you confirm consent first.
Step 2
Draft
Quillentra transcribes the conversation and drafts a note in the template you choose, leaving out the small talk.
Step 3
Review
Edit the note directly, or ask for a change and accept or reject it as a tracked change. Then sign it.
Step 4
Use
Copy the whole note or a single section into your EHR, or export it as a PDF or Word document.
What we believe
Four principles behind every decision
When a choice is hard, these settle it.
The clinician stays in control
Every AI draft is a draft. You review, edit and sign each note yourself. Changes you ask for arrive as tracked changes you accept or reject, and a signed note stays locked until you choose to amend it.
Privacy is designed in, not added on
We collect only what documentation needs. Audio is temporary by default, our emails never contain patient information, and your data is never sold or used to train AI models.
Honest about what AI can't do
Quillentra is instructed to document only what the visit and your notes support, and never to invent vitals, findings or history. It can still get things wrong, which is why review is part of every step.
Built around clinical work
Templates, letters, prior authorizations and the clinical assistant follow the documentation clinicians actually do. What clinicians tell us shapes what we build next.
What we haven't built yet
Being honest includes saying what's missing. Quillentra runs in your web browser; there are no mobile apps. It doesn't connect directly to EHRs today, so you copy or export your notes into your record system.
How we build
Safeguards that are part of the product
Quillentra was built to handle protected health information under HIPAA from the first line of code. None of this is a setting you have to find.
We're aligning our controls with SOC 2 but haven't completed an examination yet.
Access
- Passwordless sign-in with single-use email codes, Google or Apple, and an authenticator app for anyone who adds a password
- Automatic sign-out after 15 minutes of inactivity, and at most 12 hours per session
- Each practice's data kept separate, and visits private to the clinician unless the practice turns on a shared workspace
Data
- Encryption in transit and at rest, plus a second layer of field-level encryption for patient details, transcripts and notes
- Visit audio deleted as soon as the note is written, unless your practice chooses to keep it for 7 or 30 days
- Your data is never used to train AI models, by us or by our AI providers
Accountability
- A Business Associate Agreement with every practice, and with every vendor that can access patient information
- A tamper-evident audit trail of every sign-in, view, edit, copy and export, checked for integrity daily
- No patient information in our emails or operational logs
