Getting started

Set up your practice

Two quick steps: tell us your name, title and specialty, then name your practice and accept the Business Associate Agreement.

On this page· 4 sections
  1. Step 1: About you
  2. Step 2: Your practice
  3. Joining a colleague’s practice instead
  4. Finish setting up

The first time you sign in, Quillentra asks two short questions. A practice is your workspace: it holds your visits, patients and templates, and it’s where you invite colleagues.

Step 1: About you

  1. Check Your name.
  2. Add your Title (for example, MD, NP or PA-C). It’s optional and appears after your name on letters.
  3. Choose your Specialty, then select Continue. Quillentra uses it to tailor your notes.

Step 2: Your practice

  1. Enter a Practice or organization name.
  2. Choose how many Clinicians in your practice or department.
  3. Tick the box to accept the Terms of Service and the HIPAA Business Associate Agreement on behalf of the practice. Your acceptance is recorded with a timestamp.
  4. Select Create practice.

You become the practice’s owner and land on Visits, ready to record. You can go Back to step 1 before creating the practice.

Joining a colleague’s practice instead

If someone invited your email address, the invitation appears in step 2. Select Join followed by the practice name, or Decline. You can still create your own practice with the form below it.

Finish setting up

  • Settings → Profile: choose the spoken language and note language for new visits.
  • Templates: mark the templates you use as favorites and choose a default.
  • Settings → Organization → General (owners and admins): the practice logo, audio retention, trash and the shared team workspace.
  • Settings → Organization → Members (owners and admins): invite colleagues.
  • Settings → Organization → Billing (owners and admins): the practice’s plan. See Plans and billing.
