Import a template from a document

Paste an example note or upload a PDF, Word or text file, and Quillentra builds a matching template for you to review.

On this page· 2 sections
  1. Patient information
  2. Limits
  1. In Templates, select Import from document.
  2. Under Upload a file, drag in or choose a PDF, Word (.docx), TXT or Markdown file of up to 15 MB. Or select Paste text and paste an example note, a form or your existing template.
  3. Select Build template.
  4. Review the draft in the editor. Check the sections, their instructions and the style.
  5. Select Save template.

Nothing is saved until you select Save template. To try a different document, select Start over.

Patient information

Quillentra strips patient details from the draft, and the document you paste or upload is never stored. Even so, use a de-identified example where you can, and check the draft for patient information before you save it.

Limits

  • Files can be up to 15 MB.
  • Very long documents can’t be imported. If yours is rejected, paste a single example note instead.
