Recording visits

Dictation

Speak your findings after the visit and Quillentra writes them into your template. No consent checkbox needed.

Use dictation when you’d rather speak your note than record the visit itself, for example once the patient has left.

  1. In Visits, choose a template. Any template works. Free-form Dictation keeps your dictated structure, wording and headings and turns them into a clean note.
  2. At the top of Start a visit, choose Dictate, then select Start dictation.
  3. Speak your findings, then select Stop & create note.

The consent checkbox isn’t required for dictation, because you’re recording only yourself. You can still pick a patient so the note includes their details and background.

Dictations follow the same steps as any other recording afterwards: review, edit, sign, and copy or export. See Record your first visit.
