- In Visits, choose a template and, optionally, a patient.
- At the top of Start a visit, choose Upload.
- Tick the consent checkbox to confirm that the patient agreed to being recorded.
- Select Choose audio file and pick the file.
- Wait while Uploading recording securely… shows its progress. Keep the tab open until the upload finishes.
When the upload completes, Quillentra transcribes the recording and writes your note, just as it does for a live recording.
Supported files
- MP3, M4A, WAV, WebM, OGG and FLAC.
- Up to 500 MB per file.
If you see “Unsupported file type”, convert the file to one of these formats and try again.
You can also upload into a visit that hasn’t been recorded yet: open it and select Upload under Ready to record.
Uploaded audio follows your practice’s audio retention setting, like any other recording. See Data retention and deletion.
